Maintenance Tips

Our jewelry pieces are mostly made of natural pearl loops and copper gold-plated ornaments. Maintaining these accessories can prevent surface oxidation and corrosion, thus extending their lifespan.

Considerations when wearing jewelry containing natural pearls:

Pearl

  1. Pearls have low hardness, so avoid contact with hard objects or other gemstones to prevent surface dents and scratches.
  2. Pearls are composed of calcium carbonate, which reacts with acids and bubbles. Therefore, avoid wearing pearl rings while bathing or exposing them to cosmetics or acidic substances, as they may corrode the pearls and cause them to lose their luster.
  3. Grease can seep into the surface of pearls, diminishing their luster. Avoid exposure to high temperatures or prolonged sunlight, as this may cause pearls to turn brown.
  4. Pearl jewelry can be rinsed with pure water or weak alkaline water, dried with a soft cloth, and stored in a jewelry box/bag in a cool place.

Considerations when wearing gold-plated jewelry:

Gold-Plated

  1. Avoid wearing them while bathing, as hot water can darken the gold plating or even cause it to fade. Prolonged exposure to sweat in hot weather can also cause erosion.
  2. Wipe them gently with a soft cloth to maintain their shine. Avoid mixing them with other jewelry or hard objects to prevent friction and damage.
  3. When adjusting gold-plated necklaces, avoid pulling or tugging forcefully, as this may break the chain. Please handle the jewelry with care to prevent deformation or breakage.
  4. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious when wearing gold-plated jewelry. If any allergic reactions occur during wear, please stop wearing them immediately.
  5. Do not store them together with other jewelry, as friction between them may damage the plating
